Information used for the assessment
The assessment asks for practical circumstances such as age band, province, household situation, income band, student status, employment position, disability-related needs, business activity, housing position and similar eligibility indicators.
- The first assessment does not ask for a name, ID number, phone number or email address.
- Questions are designed to support matching, not to collect unnecessary personal detail.
- Users should not enter identity numbers, banking details or passwords into open text fields.
How answers are used
Answers are used to compare a user's circumstances against the current MyQualify programme set. The result is a summary of possible matches and a detailed PDF report with requirements, documents, official links and next steps.
- The summary page is intended for quick review after completion.
- The PDF report contains more detailed programme guidance.
- MyQualify does not use answers to make official approval decisions.
Local browser storage
After an assessment is completed, MyQualify may keep the result temporarily in the user's browser session so the results page and PDF download can work. This is intended to support the immediate user experience, not to create a public profile.
- Closing the browser tab or clearing browser data may remove the stored result.
- Starting a new assessment can replace the previous local result.
- Users should download the PDF if they want to keep a copy.
What MyQualify does not ask for first
The current public version is deliberately light on personal data. It is built around value before registration so people can see useful guidance without handing over sensitive identifiers at the start.
- No identity number is required for the first assessment.
- No account is required to see possible matches.
- No email address is required to download the immediate PDF report.
Official applications
If a user chooses to apply for a programme after reading a MyQualify result, the official institution may request personal information, documents or verification. That separate application is handled under the institution's own privacy rules.
- Read the official programme privacy wording before submitting documents.
- Only upload sensitive documents through trusted official channels.
- Be careful of unofficial agents asking for copies of identity or banking documents.
Future consent-based features
If MyQualify later adds saved profiles, reminders, alerts, emailed reports or account features, those features should use clear consent, practical retention rules and privacy-by-design controls.
- Users should be told what is collected and why.
- Optional contact features should be clearly separated from the free first screen.
- Sensitive data should be limited to what the feature genuinely needs.
